THE WORLD'S BEST OVERNIGHT OATS
A bold statement, I will admit. But take it from someone who has spent the best part of 10 years eating porridge daily - these are good. I had planned to spend last week experimenting; trying some overnight oat recipes of my own, and also of others, to find my favourites. I tried these one day 3 and gave up, nothing was going to beat them. I've had them every day since. They're pretty versatile too, which I like, especially given the current climate. So if you can't find or don't like an ingredient you can sub it out for something you prefer.

Creamy, crunchy, sweet chocolate overnight oats...
Ingredients:
45g (1/2 cup) oats
20g protein powder (I like THIS one) - or 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
10g (1 tbsp) ground flax seeds - or chia seeds/ psyllium husk/more oats
7g (1 tbsp) cacao nibs - or chocolate chips
60g coconut yogurt (2x heaped tbsp) - or any type of yogurt
1 tsp honey - or maple syrup
15g (1 tbsp) peanut butter - or any nut/seed butter you prefer
125ml (1/2 cup) almond milk - or any milk
Method:
The night before:
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl or container. Next add the peanut butter, honey, coconut yogurt and almond milk. Finally add the cacao nibs.
The next morning:
Before serving check the consistency. You might choose to add more milk here, if so add slowly so they don't become too runny. Serve with toppings of choice, and enjoy.
